Message from the IBBC2025 Program Chair​

The global economy is undergoing a significant transformation with a growing emphasis on sustainability. Bioenergy and bioeconomy emerge as promising solutions by considering biological resources to produce energy, bio-based materials and chemicals in a sustainable way. These concepts are key to reducing fossil fuel dependence and mitigating climate change while continuing to promote economic development. Given the benefits and challenges associated with bioenergy and bioeconomy, it is mandatory to maintain strong collaborations and knowledge sharing at an international level.

Holding a conference dedicated to these subjects can facilitate the knowledge exchange, foster international collaboration, improve policy development and encourage investment and innovation. We invite researchers, policymakers and industry leaders to join us at the Bioenergy and Bioeconomy International Conference 2025 to shape the future of sustainable development and build a resilient, bio-based economy.
