Portugal is a member of the Schengen Area, which allows visa-free travel for many nationalities. However, if your country is not on the visa-exempt list, you must apply for a Schengen Visa to attend IBBC2025.
Determine Your Visa Type: Apply for a Short-Stay Schengen Visa (Type C – Business or Conference Visa).
Prepare Required Documents:
A valid passport (minimum of 3 months beyond intended stay)
Completed Schengen visa application form
Proof of accommodation (hotel booking or invitation from IBBC2025 organizers)
Round-trip flight itinerary
Conference registration confirmation
Invitation letter from IBBC2025 (if required)
Travel insurance covering at least €30,000
Proof of financial means to cover your stay in Portugal
Schedule an Appointment: Book a visa appointment at the nearest Portuguese Embassy or Consulate.
Attend Visa Interview: Submit your documents and complete any required biometrics or interviews.
Wait for Processing: Visa processing may take 15-45 days, so apply well in advance.

The invitation letter will be emailed within 5 business days.
IBBC2025 organizers will issue the invitation letter only to registered participants.
The invitation letter does not guarantee a visa approval.
It is the attendee’s responsibility to arrange their visa in a timely manner.
