Global Bioenergy Leadership Award – Recognizing individuals who have significantly shaped the bioenergy sector through innovation, policy, and strategic leadership.
Lifetime Achievement Award – Honoring professionals with a lifelong commitment and impactful contributions to bioenergy and bioeconomy.
Women in Bioenergy Award – Celebrating women leaders making a significant impact in the bioenergy sector.
Young Professional in Bioenergy Award – Recognizing professionals under 40 who have shown outstanding achievements in bioenergy and bioeconomy.

Technology & Innovation Awards

Bioenergy Innovation of the Year – Honoring breakthroughs in biofuel production, biomass processing, and related technologies.
Digital Transformation in Bioenergy Award – Recognizing companies or individuals driving digitalization and smart technologies in the bioenergy sector.
Sustainable Biomass Supply Award – Awarding excellence in sustainable biomass sourcing and supply chain management.
Hydrogen & Advanced Biofuels Innovation Award – Highlighting innovation in hydrogen and advanced biofuels for decarbonization.

Best Bioeconomy Policy & Regulatory Framework Award – Recognizing effective policy frameworks that promote sustainable bioeconomy development.
Best Circular Economy Initiative in Bioenergy – Honoring projects that successfully integrate circular economy principles in bioenergy and biorefinery processes.
Top Research & Academic Contribution in Bioenergy – Awarding academic institutions or researchers making significant advancements in bioenergy technologies.
Best Industry-Driven Bioenergy Project Award – Recognizing industry-led projects that contribute to large-scale bioenergy adoption and commercialization.

Nomination & Selection Process

Nominations Open: April 10, 2026
Nomination Deadline: September 30, 2026
Finalist Announcement: October 30, 2026
Awards Ceremony: December 4, 2026 (during the Gala Dinner at IBBC2026)

How to Apply

To nominate an individual, company, or project for an award, submit a 500-word summary outlining the nominee’s contributions, achievements, and impact on the bioenergy and bioeconomy sectors. Supporting documents such as case studies, media coverage, and research publications are encouraged.

Send your nominations to secretariat@ibbce.com by September 30, 2025. A panel of esteemed industry and academic experts will evaluate submissions, and winners will be honoured at IBBC2026’s prestigious Awards Ceremony during the Gala Dinner on October 27, 2026.
